Philosophy

Teaching is learning.
The best classrooms I have been a part of take a circular approach to learning. Finding our students, academically, emotionally, and artistically is the first step in helping them on their journey.

Expression is how we become ourselves.
Finding and exploring oneself, through multimodal methodologies, is the work of childhood.

Fundamental skills are important but not everything.
Developing relationships and encouraging experimentation without consequence is the most effective teaching tool.
